Receive round-the-clock care by our professional nursing and rehabilitation teams.
A nursing home is a residential care facility dedicated to providing 24/7 nursing care services for elderly and disabled individuals who require clinical monitoring and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs). Nursing homes provide skilled nursing and medical care, as well as therapy and rehabilitation services.
NTUC Health’s nursing homes are developed with our residents at heart, especially those with dementia and other conditions requiring round-the-clock care. Our facilities are thoughtfully designed to provide a warm and welcoming environment for engaging in both social activities and living.
Through our services and support, your loved one can benefit from their stay and manage their health and well-being at our nursing homes. We encourage our residents to perform simple functional tasks independently, volunteer, be active, and regain autonomy and confidence through our customised rehabilitation programmes. Below are some of the services we offer in our nursing homes.
Developed with our residents at heart
Our day spaces are designed to capture a feeling of familiarity, such as a living room, a HDB void deck or a street hawker.
Reminiscence corners allow your loved one to feel right at home, and to offer sensory and memory stimulation
Quiet rooms provide added privacy for residents who want some time for themselves in a calming and soothing atmosphere
Therapeutic gardens for residents to interact with nature and enjoy the fresh air and greenery
We facilitate your loved one's daily life in their new home, by helping them to feel comfortable and empowered to live well.
We believe that personalisation and regular follow-up will help enhance their everyday life with us, in key areas such as:
Customised plans to meet their individual care needs right from the start
Regular medical, nutritional, and dental checks aligned with their needs
Help with daily activities and living, so that they can find the comfort and confidence to lead a fulfilling life
Our rehabilitation activities encourage residents to remain active and independent based on their functional abilities. They can retain and improve their quality of life through tailored programmes that help them:
Stay physically active through regular exercises and therapy sessions, with the help of our team of qualified and caring therapists
Improve strength, mobility, speaking or swallowing abilities through our team of qualified physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech therapists
Perform daily tasks such as showering, ironing and cooking with rehabilitation programmes
Regain independence and dignity, and live more comfortably, with optional diaper-free programmes
Benefit from intensive rehabilitation and work towards the possibility of regaining independence and returning home
It is never too late to live life with joy and purpose. With our activities, your loved one can stimulate their physical senses, develop friendships, reconnect with their passions, or discover new ones.
We encourage our residents to stay active and connected with the community, through:
Regular activities run by volunteers, such as our Inter-Generational Programme that facilitates activities and interaction with children
Opportunities to form and drive their own interest groups, such as musical performances, games, and cooking
Volunteering opportunities with our tight-knit community to extend their skills and time to help fellow residents
For residents who qualify for government subsidies, the basic fee ranges from $890 to $4,500 a month, depending on your eligibility for MOH subsidies.
The amount of subsidy will be determined through the National Means Testing System (NMTS). To find out if you are eligible for subsidies and financial assistance, visit our Subsidies page for more information.
Customers who are not eligible for government subsidies and financial assistance can consider our private admission.
Private fees start from $4,500 a month. Actual fee depends on the resident’s care needs and choice of accommodation. We offer both regular and single bedders at our nursing homes. Medication and other consumables are not covered by the basic rate, and may be incurred depending on your needs and preferences.
If your loved one requires increasing care needs from living with illnesses like stroke, advanced dementia, late stage Parkinson’s disease and other debilitating conditions, we are here to help provide round-the-clock care.
To find out more about bed vacancies and if your loved one qualifies for a placement in our nursing homes, submit a form and we'll be in touch.
All MOH-subsidised admissions to nursing homes are done through the Agency of Integrated Care (AIC), a centralised government agency that manages the bed availability of all nursing homes in Singapore. You can approach medical social workers in public hospitals or polyclinics to submit an application to AIC for your preferred nursing home. Learn more here.
If you do not qualify for MOH subsidies or prefer to apply as a private applicant without MOH subsidies, please email us at care@ntuchealth.sg for assistance. Admission is subject to bed availability.
At NTUC Health’s nursing homes, we strive to provide quality and affordable care for your loved ones. The basic fee ranges from $890 to $4,500 a month, depending on your eligibility for MOH subsidies.
Additional charges may apply including consumables and a one-time admission charge.
For residents who do not qualify for MOH subsidies, the basic rates start from $4,500 a month, with the actual fee dependent on the resident’s care needs and choice of accommodation (regular bedders or single bedders). Similar to subsidised residents, additional charges may apply.
If you need help with nursing home fees, do speak with us and we will do our best to help you understand the options.
Speak to a referring medical social worker at a public hospital or polyclinic to check if you qualify for government subsidy, and to receive advice on subsidy application.
They will be able to apply for a means-test with the National Means Testing System provided by MOH, and can provide you with more information on whether you qualify for a subsidy with our nursing home service.
Nursing home admissions are referred by AIC. Click here to view AIC’s criteria for placement into a nursing home.
We work carefully with each resident, including those with dementia, stroke, Parkinson’s Disease and other debilitating conditions, to provide high quality, 24-hour nursing care. Residents can look forward "Fun after 7" activities after dinner daily to keep active, as well as organised outings and more.
We provide both long-term nursing home care and respite care.
Long-term nursing home care provides for stay-in residents who require round-the-clock and long-term nursing care needs.
Respite care is a short-term care option that lasts from 1 to 4 weeks.
