We put the fun in care! Engage us with confidence for our professional care and service quality.
A senior day care facility provides care to elderly individuals while also encouraging them to socialise and stay active with recreational activities and exercises. Meals and transportation for elderly living in the vicinity are available. Elderly individuals can continue to live in their own homes and interact with others in the community, while receiving care at the centres in the day. They are provided a comfortable and safe environment which offers assurance to family members who may be away at work.
Our Senior Day Care programme offers your loved ones engaging and fun activities to add some zest to their lives.
Your loved one can look forward to:
Arts and crafts, games, karaoke
Daily exercises such as stretching, moving around, and strengthening activities to maintain joint flexibility
Festive celebrations
Recreational activities such as inter-generational activities
We also support your loved ones with their activities of daily living, including their nutrition and basic nursing requirements such as wound care and medication reminders.
Our elderly day care services provide you, as a caregiver, a chance to take a break and recharge, so that you can continue caring for your loved one in the best way possible for the years ahead.
Flexible care options, such as Care on Sundays, DayCare+ (a virtual programme), and Fun with Friends (a weekly 3-hour programme for seniors with mild dementia) are also available. Please refer to our Flexible Care page for more details.
I feel that the activities at Senior Day Care are of great benefit and help to my mother's body and mind. People who were originally quiet will become more cheerful. She was safely transported to the centre and escorted to our door, so that my only caregiver was relieved of a lot of pressure, and can get to work with peace of mind. Sincere thanks!
Ms Tan Siam Keow, caregiver of Senior Day Care client
The dedication and sincerity of the Senior Day Care team has enabled me and my family to have peace at work. My mum has dementia and had been very reluctant and difficult to manage, but now, she enjoys attending the activities regularly, and often looks forward to mealtimes as it suits her taste. A rehabilitation centre, managed by a professional team, is connected to the Day Care centre, which makes it super convenient for my Mum's rehab sessions too.
Ms Shirin Goh, daughter of Senior Day Care client
The centre is very clean and well managed. My hubby looks forward to going to Senior Day Care every day, as he enjoys the activities conducted there. Services rendered by the team are second to none.
Mdm Chong Pong Poh, wife of Senior Day Care client
My mum is 91 and a bit of dementia. However, she only have praises for the staff of NTUC Health, from the transport assistants, to the Care Associates. All of them treat the elderly like their own parents. One day, my Mum's sandal broke at the centre. They tried to glue the sole but couldn't. Ivanne, on his own initiative, went out to buy a very similar pair to gift it to my mum. Such deeds and actions speaks for itself!
