Through collaboration and gentle encouragement, we empower them to make choices and take on simple tasks at our centre, fostering a sense of independence. Witnessing their spirits lift and knowing they feel safe and cared for brings me a deep sense of fulfillment in my work.

Having worked in a different industry for more than 10 years, transitioning into my role as a Community Care Associate was both a new challenge and a rewarding journey. To ensure a smooth transition and excel in my role, I received invaluable training through internal programmes like the Fundamental Elderly Care (FEC) and the Care Associate Programme (CAP). I also earned the WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare, further strengthening my skills. Throughout this journey, the continuous guidance and support from my reporting officer has been instrumental in helping me grow and thrive in this meaningful career.
