Sylvia is a Principal Physiotherapist with nearly two decades of experience, specialising in neurological rehabilitation and community health systems. She leads clinical operations at NTUC Health, overseeing 22 Day Rehabilitation Centres and seven senior gyms, and managing a team of over 60 staff serving more than 3,000 seniors and caregivers.
In 2020, she co-authored a mini review "Patient-Centric Care for Parkinson's Disease: From Hospital to the Community" in Frontiers in Neurology, providing a blueprint for seamless care transitions that prioritise the patient's quality of life.
