Dr Benjamin Lim is a recognised Occupational Therapist, design practitioner, and clinical leader with over 15 years of experience in community and long-term care. Holding a Doctor of Clinical Research in Health Sciences, he applies design thinking within occupational therapy to strengthen person-centred practice, enhance service delivery, and develop capable Allied Health teams.
Dr Lim also serves as Associate Faculty with the Singapore Institute of Technology, mentoring future clinicians and contributing to workforce development. In 2026, he received both the Best Scientific Paper and People’s Choice Award at the World Federation of Occupational Therapists Congress in Bangkok, reflecting the practical impact and resonance of his work. He champions the distinctive role of occupational therapy in enabling participation, dignity, and meaningful engagement, shaping resilient and innovative approaches across the ageing sector.
