Dr. Soh Shean Han is registered as a Specialist in Orthodontics with the Singapore Dental Council. She is also an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Visiting Associate Consultant at the National University Centre for Oral Health Singapore (NUCOHS).
In recognition of her academic excellence, she was the 7th graduate to be awarded a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (Honours) from NUS, and received over 20 awards including the medal for the best clinical student. Dr. Soh then completed her specialty training at the University of Washington (USA) and is board-certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Soh has been an Invisalign certified provider since 2017. Her professional affiliations include fellowship in the Academy of Medicine, Singapore and memberships in the American Association of Orthodontists, Association of Orthodontists (Singapore), and Singapore Dental Association.
With a passion for teaching, Dr. Soh was the lead coordinator for the Undergraduate Orthodontic Programme at NUS from 2018 to 2023. She received several NUS teaching awards (faculty and university-level) and has been an invited speaker for numerous Continuing Dental Education events where she shares her clinical experience on Orthodontics with the dental community. Dr Soh is also active in research, having published articles in peer-reviewed Orthodontic journals, and presented at regional and international conferences. She was also invited to review articles for journals in Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry.
Her clinical interests are in preventive orthodontics in children, clear aligner treatment, and multi-disciplinary treatment involving orthodontics, including the management of jaw deformities.
Dr. Soh finds joy in improving her patients’ quality of life and self-confidence by giving them a beautiful and healthy smile. She believes everyone, irrespective of age, deserves a great smile.
