Dr Adrian Lee graduated from National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and provided a wide range of dental care in various institutions including National Dental Centre, Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), Singhealth Polyclinics and School Dental Services.
Dr Lee was appointed Dental Officer In-Charge of Mindef Dental Centre providing quality dental treatment for SAF personnel including top brass commanders. Under Dr Lee’s leadership, Mindef Dental Centre clinched the Best SAF Dental Centre award. He was then selected for the Medical Officer Cadet Course. During reservist, Dr Lee currently serves as a SAF Dental Officer and travels for overseas missions to provide dental treatment to the under-privileged. Dr Lee was also the overall Dental In-charge of Queenstown Polyclinic managing a team of dental surgeons and support staff.
Dr Lee is an experienced dental implantologist with a Graduate Diploma in Dental Implantology from NUS. He is also proficient at general dental procedures like aesthetic restorative dentistry, gum treatment, oral surgery, root canal treatment, children dentistry and prosthodontic treatment including crowns, bridges and dentures.
In his spare time, Dr Lee is an avid soccer fan and enjoys travelling with his wife and two children.
Dr Chin Meng Yean graduated with the Bachelor of Dental Surgery from University of Otago, New Zealand. She is a member of Singapore Dental Association (SDA), College of General Dental Practitioners (CGDP) and a certified Invisalign provider.
Dr Chin practices General Dentistry with a keen interest in Orthodontics and Periodontics. She regularly keeps herself up-to-date on clinical knowledge and skills with Continuing Professional Education (CPE) courses.
She finds great satisfaction in improving oral health, function and smiles of both returning and new clients. Dr Chin is committed in providing best possible comprehensive dental care and experience, through her meticulous and caring approach.
Dr Chin is an active volunteer at Tzu Chi Free Clinic (Singapore) and has offered her services to less fortunate communities in Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Philippines and New Zealand. She also makes time for cafe hopping and exploring different parts of the world.
Dr Clara Loo obtained her BDS from NUS in 1989. She served as a dental officer with MOH, and completed a year-long residency at University of Rochester, New York. She has been in private practice for the past 18 years, with particular interest in treating the elderly for denture cases.
Dr Clement Goh graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in 1979 from the University of Singapore. He served two years as a dental officer with the Singapore Armed Forces, after which he left for London and worked as a dental practitioner with the National Health Service (NHS) between 1981 to 1984.
He obtained his Masters of Science (MSc) in periodontolgy from University College London (UCL) in 1984.
Dr Goh joined NTUC Denticare in 1993 and has been with the organisation since.
Dr Colin Ong thinks that most bios are boring. But they do need something to fill the website, so here is my story.
Dr Ong had fun training in dentistry at the NUS during a time when you could still hop and jam to let your hair down! After much grounding in general dentistry, he deepened his commitment to his profession by finishing a Masters program in Orthodontics in sunny Queensland Australia. He has ever since then restricted his practice to doing only braces for his patients in the hope of bringing smiles to their faces & most importantly, to their hearts.
When he isn’t playing around with “railway tracks”, he can be found on the tennis courts, or playing with his gadgets & cameras, scuba diving in the big blue & hiking in the amazing wilderness. Dr Ong strives for & abides deeply in the art of Shokunin.
Dr Debbie Ong graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the National University of Singapore in 2002. She was awarded the L C Lien Gold Medal award. Dr Ong has since worked at the NUH Dental Centre before joining NTUC Health Denticare Bedok in 2007. Dr Ong maintains a gentle, approachable disposition to all her patients and strives to provide them with a high level of professionalism in solving their dental issues and to help allay their anxieties. Dr Ong has extensive clinical experience and she continues to keep up with the latest in dental advancements through readings and consistent course attendance.
Dr Fong Lam graduated from National University of Singapore with Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree in 1970. Served in the Singapore Armed Forces as a dental officer for 6 years before working as a principal dentist in a private practice doing general dentistry, finding joy in treating patients of all ages.
He is a member of Singapore Dental Association and continue upgrading skills by attending professional courses and hands on workshops. A team member of NTUC Health Denticare since 2013 practising community dentistry with immense satisfaction.
Dr Goh Siew Hor graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from NUS in 2008 where he was also awarded the Outstanding Undergraduate Researcher Prize. He is presently the Assistant Director at NTUC Health where he heads the Dental and Family Medicine services. He is a Visiting Consultant and Member of the Medical Advisory Committee at St Luke’s Community Hospital and President of the Singapore Dental Health Foundation. In 2018, he was awarded the Singapore Patient Advocacy Award for his contributions to dental care in the nursing home.
Dr Ho Ji Ding graduated from the University of Dublin, Ireland, with honours in Bachelor of Dental Science. She has been rendering her services in primary care to a wide range of patients, perfecting her skills and enhancing her experience along the way.
Dr Ho is fluent in English, Mandarin and Malay. She has a keen interest in preventive and restorative dentistry. Her listening skills coupled with her gentle demeanour provide a welcoming platform even for the anxious ones. With her patients’ best interests at heart, Dr Ho takes time to explain their dental condition and help them improve their oral health.
Dr Jeevan Apok graduated from the National University Of Singapore in 1998 with a Degree in Bachelor of Dental Surgery.
He was seconded to the Singapore Armed Forces and the School Dental Centre for three years upon Graduation. He started Private Practice in 2001 and hence been an associate Dental Surgeon with then NTUC Denticare (now NTUC Health Denticare). His area of interest besides General Dentistry had been Oral Surgery and Prosthodontics.
He is currently the practice manager of the Choa Chu Kang and Woodgroove branch of NTUC Health Denticare.
Dr Johari Hamdan graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore in 1995. After a short stint with the Ministry of Health, he joined Denticare in 1997 and has since been practising General Dentistry.
Dr Liew graduated in 1984 from the National University of Singapore. He used to run a successful group practice for 28 years and many of his patients chose to be under his care ever since. He is very comfortable with senior citizens. Likes to volunteer for mission dental work and his favourite past time is hiking near and afar.
Dr Lim Chwee Huun received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Singapore (1979). She holds a Membership of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons (UK). She was recognized as a fellow of International College of Dentists for her contributions to the dental fraternity. Her focus is in preventive and holistic care.
Dr Lim Fah Liong graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the National University of Singapore in 1984. He has served as a dental officer during National Service, and subsequently with the Ministry of Health.
He has been managing his own private practice in Ang Mo Kio for 33 years, prior to joining NTUC Health Denticare.
Dr Lim takes a special interest in helping ageing seniors in the community achieve and maintain good oral health, through quality dental care.
Dr Narendran Andrew Robinson received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from National University of Singapore in 1990 and his Masters of Science in Oral Medicine from the Eastman Dental Institute (University of London) in 1996. He is also a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. He practices General Dentistry at the Parkway Parade Branch of NTUC Health Denticare. He is a Visiting Consultant at NUH Centre for Oral Health where he manages patients with Oral Mucosal Disorders.
Dr Ng Chee Hon is a Consultant Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon with NTUC Health Denticare. He is an avid contributor to newspaper columns and television media. He enjoyed many accolades as a student, trainee, scholar and teacher. His major interests are wisdom tooth surgery and dental implants.
Dr Pong Mei Yee has a special interest in restorative and cosmetic dentistry. She graduated from the University of Melbourne and has over 20 years of experience. Apart from her strong clinical skills, she takes pride in her chair side manners, demeanour and patient management.
Dr Pong is passionate about helping her patients maintain their oral health and believes in treating her patients holistically. Being an advocate of good dental maintenance care for the community, she is part of an invited team of dentists with National Dental Centre Singapore Care Partnership Program. Dr Pong is also a member of Singapore Dental Association and the Aesthetic Dentistry Society Singapore.
To keep herself up to date with the latest materials and dental techniques in the dynamic field of dentistry, Dr Pong constantly updates her knowledge through conferences, lecture series and online courses.
When not in the surgery, Dr Pong is a busy mother of two boys and she also enjoys painting and travelling.
Dr Quek Jiun Haur holds a Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Dublin, Ireland. Believing that science and arts are closely intertwined, Dr Quek derives satisfaction from providing a craft of high-quality and meticulous dental work.
Being fluent in several languages (Mandarin, English, Malay, and Teochew), coupled with a gentle approach, enables him to communicate well with patients of diverse backgrounds. To keep abreast of the latest developments in dentistry, Dr. Quek updates his knowledge through continued professional education with special interests in prosthodontic and aesthetic dentistry.
Dr Raechelle Koh graduated from the University of Hong Kong. Before she started practising at NTUC Health Denticare, she was practicing in a private hospital setting. Her areas of focus are preventive and restorative dentistry. She hopes to be able to provide holistic treatment for her patients.
Dr Burgess graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from NUS. Since then, he practiced advanced general dentistry including microscopic endodontics at the Khoo Teck Puat hospital before taking on the role of dental officer in-charge at Woodlands Polyclinic. He has a keen interest in endodontics and keeps himself up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of dentistry. Dr Burgess enjoys holistic management of his patient’s dental needs and adopts a gentle approach when treating his patients. He is currently a member of the Singapore Dental Association and serves as Co-Editor for their bi-annual publication, the Dental Surgeon.
Dr Sun Yin Ping graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1998 with a Degree in Bachelor of Dental Surgery.
She was serving her government bond in Institute of Dental Health (IOH) for three years.
She started private practice as an associate in NTUC Denticare in Bukit Merah Branch. She is currently the Clinic Manager at Harbourfront practising General Dentistry with special interest in Crown and Bridge work.
Dr Susan Boey graduated from the University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1977. After gaining a few years of experience in general dentistry, she went on to obtain two post-graduate degrees, one in Pediatric Dentistry in 1982 and the other in Orthodontics in 1986. She is currently registered as a Specialist in Orthodontics with the Singapore Dental Council. Her passion for practicing orthodontics (braces) stems from being able to help her patients achieve more self-confidence through having beautiful smiles.
Dr Tricia Lim graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours). After returning to Singapore, she practiced at Khoo Teck Puat Hospital as a Dental Officer for over 2 years.
Dr Lim enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with a strong emphasis on preventive dentistry. She is committed to providing high quality treatment and making the dental visit as pleasant as possible.
Dr Vivian Chan obtained her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2013 from the University of Sheffield (UK), where she was also awarded the International Undergraduate Merit Scholarship by the university. Upon her return back to Singapore, she worked at the National Dental Centre (Singapore) for several years under the guidance of various specialists in the fields of Endodontics, Prosthodontics and Oral Surgery. Through her work experience at NDCS, she has also gained experience in treating patients with various complex medical problems.
Dr Wee Yong Kiat graduated from National University Of Singapore Dental Faculty in 1984. After serving his National Service obligation, he started his practice in Marine Parade. He has been providing dental services to families in the East especially Marine Parade area since 1987.
With over thirty five years of experience Dr Wee is an accomplished dental surgeon in many areas of general dentistry.
Dr William Lim completed his Basic degree in Dental Surgery in 2008 with the Outstanding Undergraduate Research Prize and subsequently went on to pursue his Masters in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in the year 2010. He served as a Consultant in the National Dental Centre Singapore where he was the Head of the Oral and Craniofacial Implant Program.
Dr Lim became a Fellow of the Academic Medicine Institute in 2016 and was awarded the National Medical Research Council grant in 2018. He has special interest in 3 dimensional imaging with reference to diagnosis and surgical planning of cases.
Dr Wong Li Qing graduated with a Bachelors of Dental Surgery from the University of Otago, New Zealand.
During her undergraduate years, she was involved in various student associations and represented New Zealand as a delegate during the Asia Pacific Dental Students Association Congress.
She was privileged to have experienced working in the hospital, private as well as community health sectors during her time in New Zealand. These exposures have greatly moulded her commitment to continue providing proficient and comfortable services for her patients in all aspects of general dentistry.
Dr Wong believes in the importance of good communication and understanding with her patients. She aims to provide a gentle and pain-free experience for all her patients, and strives to treat them with care and compassion.
Dr Yang Terh Yiau, George graduated from Faculty of dentistry of the National University of Singapore with a bachelors of dental surgery BDS in 2004. He then went on to obtain his fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons by examination in 2009.
He has had 16 years of experience in both the public and private sectors in Singapore. He was previously practising in one of the largest and second largest dental groups in Singapore upon invitation.
Apart from keeping himself updated on the latest developments in the dental Industry through talks.
Dr Yang also has the special privilege of serving as a commissioned dental officer in the SAF providing medical support alongside medical officers in a wide spectrum of SAF operations through the ROVERS scheme upon recommendation by his unit commanding officer and approval by his brigade commander. This was after he completed the rigorous 25th NS Medical Officer Cadet Course at SMTI.
Out of work, Dr Yang is married and has a lovely daughter who also appreciates good hawker food and travel like him.
Dr Yap Yew Teck graduated from National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) in 1994. He further undergo training at National University of Singapore and received his Graduate Diploma in Dental Implantology (GDDI) in 2010.
He has delivered lecture on prediction and timing of placing dental implants to achieve best results.
His special interest are in Wisdom tooth surgery and dental implants; in particular how to utilise dental implants along with crown works to achieve an aesthetic outcome and pleasing smile for the patient.
The other aspects of his work would also include restoring masticatory function for patient either with dentures or dental implants in the posterior areas of the mouth.
