    How it works

    Our physiotherapists will conduct an interview with you to understand your concerns and rehabilitation goals.

    Next, they will perform a physical assessment, which includes tests of strength and movement, before providing a diagnosis.

    They will then provide treatment and advice on how to exercise, modify activities and manage pain.

    Your treatment options may include:

    • Are prone to falls and want to learn how to prevent them
    • Want to learn how to use assistive equipment such as crutches, frames and wheelchairs
    • Want to make changes to your home for a safer environment

    How it works

    Our Occupational Therapists will assess your lifestyle and habits. They will then provide you with a treatment plan that may include:

    • Setting goals for your treatment
    • Re-train your ability to carry out daily activities of living, such as household chores, feeding and dressing for work
    • Teaching you how to use Personal Mobility Aids (PMA)
    • Caregiver training
    • Recommending changes to home environment
  • Engage our Home Speech Therapy services if you:

    • Are prone to choking on food and need to learn how to safely consume food and drink
    • Want to better understand speech and articulate yourself

    How it works

    Our speech therapist will visit you at home to provide training on swallowing of food and drinks. They may also conduct speech exercises that help to improve your ability to communicate, understand others and engage in conversation.
