Circuit Training is a low to moderate intensity muscle strengthening and endurance training programme that also builds cardiovascular fitness. The programme uses specially designed HUR machines that are friendly on the joints and muscles.
Participants will go through short bursts of intense exercise on each machine to engage different muscle groups on their arms, legs, core and back, with rest periods in between stations
Our gym machines use pneumatic (air pressure) technology that allows weight increments of as little as 100g, to cater to users who are new to gym programmes. Our trainers will guide you on a suitable exercise plan that is personalised to your level of fitness, ability and preferences. To ensure your safety, we have blood pressure monitors available for pre-class checks for a safer workout.
Circuit Training Focus is a variation of our Circuit Training programme that is specially developed for those who prefer a slower paced exercise with more personalised attention from our trainers.
Our experienced trainers will adapt the weight and intensity of each exercise to your ability. We will work closely with you to make gradual improvements in strength, mobility and flexibility. Functional tests will be done before and after each package to track your progress.
Circuit Training is suitable for you if you:

Our centres are equipped with gym equipment designed with the elderly in mind. Our HUR and FREI equipment use air and water pressure technology, and are gentle and safe on the muscles and joints. These machines are suitable for elderly who have not been exercising regularly, have poor balance or weak limbs.
The machines have built in smart technology that remembers the user’s preferences and will adjust the weights accordingly, with the use of a smart card. The machines can also be adjusted with the tap of a button, and the weights increase in 100g increments, making it very safe for the elderly
Sarcopenia, or age-related loss of skeletal muscle mass and strength, can
lead to physical disability and loss of independence.
Studies have shown that we lose about 3%-8% muscle mass per decade after the age of 30 and the rate of loss increases after the age of 60. As muscle loss progresses, we may begin to reduce our physical activities, resulting in further loss of muscle strength and endurance and hence increase the risks of fall and fractures.
Therefore, resistance or weight-bearing exercises are important for us to strengthen our muscles and bones to prevent osteoporosis and sarcopenia, so that we can continue to be independent and active as we age.
They are welcome to wait for you at our seating areas while you attend our classes, please adhere to the prevailing safe management measures of each centre.
For our Circuit Training Focus programme, a limit of two persons per client may be present to assist you in moving from one machine to another should you require assistance.
